Founded in 1990 by industry veterans, Superior Optical is an independent lab with a strong history of growth, technological advancement and service to the industry.

Jon Jacobs runs the marketing and sales division; Cheryl Jacobs is the company comptroller, handling our accounting and Hal Walker, our president, handles Special Accounts. Jon also sits on the Board of Directors for the Optical Laboratories Association and was the 2011 OLA President.

The owners of Superior are passionate about their business and have instilled a work ethic in their employees that ensures a clean and productive lab, a focus on quality and accuracy, and an obsession with customer service that is unmatched in the industry.

Superior Optical supports the work of the charitable group Rivers of the World. The ROW goal is to serve people who live in the river basin areas of underdeveloped countries in Central and South America as well as Asia and Africa.
